when wmd has a specific need for a synth module that isn't an advanced signal processor or sound source, they will add it to their utility line of modules.

the first in this line is the new invert/offset module. it has two separate sections that take a cv or audio input, invert it and then apply an offset. two outputs provide the straight offset signal, and the inverted offset signal.

this allows for you to use an adsr to apply the inverse of the envelope to your processors. this module was developed so that the geiger counter eurorack sample rate would respond in reverse with the adsr. it also works with the gamma wave source to make the effects respond differently.

the invert/offset module is useful for adjusting an lfo's dc offset. or for splitting the lfo to create crossing waveforms.
