the 'double monster case' comes in 3 sections : the front & back are each equivalent to 4 of the a-100g6 cases, and the middle is used in transit to keep a safe distance between the module faces.

...or loaded full of doepfer modules! one 'double monster case' is seen here, with both sides of the case stacked one on the other. mains power is supplied from the back panel of each half (as seen in the 'coffee table' shot) leaving the whole front area free for modules.
